The Beach

The Beach Castle provides a private beach access to the world-famous Longboat Key pristine sand beach for our guests convenience, complete with complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas. The perfect setting for a relaxing beach day or romantic sunsets, the island of Longboat Key has pleased generations with it’s Mother Nature-inspired assets.

Fishing

Our private boat dock offers fishers of all angling experiences a hand at some of the most exhilarating catches in the area with redfish, snook, speckled trout, flounder, and grouper in abundance. Try your hand off the dock, areas along the beach, or with a chartered fishing boat to take on the challenge of fresh fish for dinner.

Water Sports

An array of sporting activities including parasailing, water skiing, scuba diving, sailing and bicycle rentals are all available on the island within minutes of Beach Castle. Our front office personnel can provide recommendations on local rental options.

Joan M. Durante Park

The Joan M. Durante Park is a 32-acre wetland and coastal hammock preserve located within walking distance of Beach Castle Resort. Restored to enhance native and exotic trees such as Live Oaks, Red Cedar, Sabal Palms, Banyon, Mango, and Green Buttonwood, Mahoe and Mangroves, this local preserve is a classic example of ecosystem restoration. As the vegetation of this park grows, the goal is a representation of a unique oasis for both wildlife and mankind in harmony.
